The Miss Guinea Jubilee Pageant will be held on Sunday, September 8, 2019 at Achilles Elementary School. We have moved the Pageant and all Heritage Day events to provide more space as our events grow!

The Guinea Jubilee and Abingdon Volunteer Fire and Rescue invite you to be a part of the Guinea Jubilee Community and Firemen’s Parade.
C.B. “Buck” Rowe’s store, just opposite Bena Post Office, is the starting point for these events. Start time is 8:30am on Saturday.
Kid’s Crabby Fun Run

Pedal the Loop
Pedal the Loop is a scenic bike ride through the marshes of Guinea Neck held each year in memory of Bob Flynn, Sr. With lengths of 15, 25 and 35 miles, the ride is geared towards serious, as well as recreational riders.
In the Anchor Throwing contest, participants compete to see who can throw the anchor the farthest. Trophies are awarded for the first, second, and third longest distance.
Crabpot Pulling Contest
The crab pot pulling contest is a timed event where contestants compete to see who can pull, empty, and re-bait two crab pots in the least time.
